Hello,
It's a bug that's been around for... a long time (10 years? 15 years?) and has never been resolved.
It's impossible to play videos from Télé-Loisirs. The most common issue: black square.
I am indeed logged into my user account in a perfectly legitimate way, with the link they sent me a quarter of an hour ago.
Windows 10 (same on Linux), all browsers (Edge Chromium, Chrome, Firefox), Ublock Origin disabled for the site.
I'm not the only one affected, but apparently no one has resolved the issue.
Back then, people thought they had invented a new way to slice butter by removing Flash Player, which has been gone for 107 years now...
Do you have any ideas, please?
Thanks!

PS Amusing detail: it doesn't work on Android either, all browsers (Chrome, Opera). No ad blockers on Chrome, no antivirus except the mini-McAfee provided with Android by Samsung.

Hello.
Works perfectly for me:
Try disabling hardware acceleration on one of your internet browsers https://www.malekal.com/desactiver-acceleration-materielle-3d-chrome-edge-firefox/
If it’s still the same:Ublock Origin disabled for the site
Uninstall this ad blocker, and you can also try resetting one of your internet browsers with https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/19335-resetbrowser/ read the page carefully, the effects of the reset are explained there

A hello, a reply, a thank you is always appreciated. -
Hello and thank you!
Hardware acceleration disabled: non-functional
Disabled uBlock Origin in the extensions (uninstalling it is a bit cumbersome): also non-functional
Tried a new browser, namely Brave (I hate it, can't get rid of the dark mode), without uBlock Origin. We're making slight progress: image instead of a black square, but no video. -
Re (and continuation)
On Linux (so no antivirus), on Chrome and Firefox, hardware acceleration disabled: image and no longer a black square, but still no video
The link "see other videos" is inoperative -
Well, let's uninstall it, for heaven's sake (yes, it's a pain because if we want to reinstall it, we have to reset its settings that disappear, we lose the history, etc.)
On Chrome, the result is curious: still no video (otherwise it wouldn't be funny) and the image disappears after a moment, giving way to the black square
I reinstalled it because with synchronization, I would also lose it on Windows -
(Continuation, on Windows)
Good evening
Tried Firefox's troubleshooting mode (disabling all extensions)
In vain
Good night! -
try the ESR version of Firefox https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-esr
-
Yes... Why not, but considering that I had this bug at least ten years ago (I don't think I've ever seen a video from Télé-Loisirs) and that I was already using Chrome and Firefox, I doubt that this will solve the problem.

Good evening
I know what the ESR version or channel of Firefox is. It is a version, mainly for companies that hate changes, where the appearance of said changes is much slower.
I will check, but it doesn't work that way: in particular, you must not use a profile that has already been handled by the normal version, which is technically ahead of ESR. You need to uninstall the regular version, install ESR, and use a new profile. If it's installed in any way other than for a simple trial, all sessions must be reset.
In any case, don't recommend this to those who aren't tech-savvy!
