Knowing if I am blocked by someone on Snapchat.

Hello,

I just saw that on one of my Snap chat contacts, there’s a cross in front of their username instead of the camera icon and when I go into the conversation, it says "add 'Intel' to allow them to see your story."
And in the top right, there’s the blue add icon.
I’m not sure if I accidentally did something wrong.

I don’t have them in my friends, but when I search for them, they're in my friends list.
I don’t understand.

      Hello!

      The grey cross does not mean that the person has blocked you; the sending errors may be due to the servers. The cross simply means that this person has blocked their location from you so that you cannot see it!

        So regarding my problem (excuse the length of my message):

        I accepted a friend's request at the beginning of September 2024. We were regularly communicating and sending each other Snaps for a month, everything was going well. Then at the beginning of October, I sent her a Snap one day. In less than an hour, I noticed that this person had completely disappeared from my chat feed and my friend herself also disappeared from my friends list. Only by typing in the search bar was I able to see her profile (with the first name she is registered under in my contacts on my phone, but I think her number is no longer functional, so I didn't contact her through that...) and it shows an "add" + in blue. When I click on it, it seems to loop and displays "we are sorry, we could not find (my friend's username, so her nickname)."

        I tried to take a screenshot of her profile today. And through the screenshot, the conversation with my friend reappeared in my chat feed (with all our chat history + photos, etc.), but my friend still hasn't appeared in my friends list. Additionally, I tried sending a Snap to test it. Apparently, it was sent and showed "delivered" with the red arrow.

        But there is also a gray cross next to her nickname instead of the camera icon.

        Is this cross related to the same reason you mentioned or not? And regarding my problem, I would like to know what you think about it, as I really don't understand what might have happened and why it is indicated as undetectable when it still appears in the search bar and I sent her a Snap that was apparently delivered...
