Hello,
A transparent frame appears on my screen regardless of the web pages and browsers used.
It is always located in the same place on my screen and has the format of a withdrawal card but smaller.
In this area, my mouse pointer lags. Therefore, you cannot select or click in this area.
I have tried changing browsers, closing and reopening pages, and turning my PC off and on again, but nothing changes.
Do you have any explanation for this, please, and a way to fix it?
Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 97.0

Hello,
1- Restart Windows Explorer 11 (via Task Manager)
Open Task Manager. (Right-click on the taskbar)
Tab ''Processes''
Section ''Windows Processes''
Scroll down to ''Windows Explorer''
Right-click on ''Windows Explorer'' --►Restart
2- Check if it is MiniSearchHost.exe
This blocks access to certain applications which causes this ghost box.
Or ''Search''
Do this in Task Manager (Processes tab) --►End Task
Restart Windows Explorer.
3- If you have the Steam game:
Open the Steam game.
Close the Steam window.
Restart Windows Explorer 11 or the PC.
It could be another game running in the background (see active processes in Task Manager).
4- Task view W11
Disable task view
Settings -►Personalization
On the right --► Taskbar
Uncheck the highlighted box --►Task view
Restart the PC.
Info:
It's a bug that Microsoft has seemingly fixed with a Windows Update patch.
Well, maybe not for everyone (still possible isolated cases).
Check if you have pending updates.
The cumulative update KB5012592 is available (Patch Thursday of April 12, 2022).
Or disable recent search history.
Problem is, I don't see where it is in the settings (Not in Windows Explorer by right-clicking on Quick Access -►Options then in the General tab to clear search history)
In the screenshot below, I have disabled it (the 2 boxes) to not have any search history.
Not long ago, it was in Settings -►Taskbar
"Taskbar behaviors" and unchecking the option "Show recent searches when I hover over the search icon."
This option has been removed since an update.
Don't confuse with activity history (This is in Settings -►Privacy and security--► Activity history).
