That's how some people harvest honest individuals' email addresses to scam them.
If we could avoid forwarding messages with the previous correspondent's email list, even if it doesn't stop this scourge, it would help slow it down.

I received a similar email, but according to them the donor organization was FIFA and I was the supposed winner of a sum of 250 thousand euros. But before anything else I found that it was too easy to win such a large amount without having participated in anything, so I decided to do some research on this famous lottery.

Hello, I just got taken in. They proposed that I send them several of my photos, which I did, with them I would keep 20% for myself and the rest I would send by Western Union. Now the bank has realized that they are fake travelers checks and moreover they are kicking me out of their bank, even though I had been with them for 29 years. They talk about money laundering, what am I risking? I was only unlucky enough to believe that I could get out of my misery and now I have no news from Coca-Cola to repair the damage and especially I have no money this month to feed my children. Filing a police report wouldn't help, they are already far away and going to criminal court wouldn't help me, my stupidity would be exposed... what can I do?
