Hello,

I bought this Pioneer SG9 equalizer, and it seems like I have a little problem.

The device works, but there are 2 buttons that won't stay pressed, namely the tape monitor and attenuator -6db buttons.
Is there a solution?
Thank you

Configuration: Android / Chrome 96.0.4664.45

    Hello.

Does the — 3dB one work?

This device was sold in 1981. At that time, for tuners and many others including equalizers, toggle switches like this (example) were used ==>

If inside this component the retaining click is worn or broken, the button will not stay in place. Unfortunately, it is not repairable. You have to disassemble (unsolder the pins) this switch and look on eBay for example.

In the YouTube video, you can see the manipulation of the said buttons ==>

    See you later . . .
