TV connection switch without base

Hello, I want to connect my Switch to my TV, and I've specifically bought a USB-C to HDMI cable, but it’s not working. Can someone help me?

    Hello, the Switch is not compatible with this type of cable; it is mandatory to go through the dock. There are probably third-party adapters specifically designed to connect the Switch to the TV, but it is not recommended to use them as they can brick the console and render it unusable (this has happened before).

        Same thing, it should work but there's always the risk of bricking the console.
