(VLC) H265 codec → thumbnails

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to display a thumbnail on H265 encoded videos (mp4, mkv, etc...) using VLC as a player like with other codecs?

Hello,

Windows Explorer
Make sure you have not enabled the Preview Pane or the Details Pane which add a pane to the right in Windows Explorer.
Visible with a small check, symbol of the V


Workaround
Try these methods:

Method 1
Open the Start screen (Start button).
Open Windows Terminal (Administrator).
Copy/paste: 

 regsvr32 shmedia.dll


Then press the enter key.
Close the terminal.
Restart the PC.

Method 2
Download Media Preview
(Media Preview 1.4.3 latest version).


Go to the tab --►Video Formats
Click on --►Select All
Click on --►Apply
Click on --►Quit


Do the same if you have Audio files without thumbnails.

For I don't know how many times: thank you pistouri, you're the boss of the bosses of the forum.
Powershell didn't recognize the command, I chose this magic software instead, in less than thirty seconds everything is perfect :)
