Hello,

I sent a text today to a person to confirm a business appointment.

About 30 minutes later, I received a text from another number indicating that a voicemail was left regarding this appointment and that I need to click on a link to listen to it.

This text undoubtedly resembles a scam and I did not click on the link.
However, I would like to know how this text can reference true information indicated in my initial text, since I do indeed have an appointment on November 3rd at 2 PM, which was precisely the subject of my text? (In my initial text, I stated "tomorrow at 2 PM," which corresponds to the date of November 3rd).

Best regards

    Hello,

To be sure, ask the number with which you confirmed the appointment if they sent you a message with a link to listen to.

But indeed, do not click on it.

    Best regards
