I have tried repeatedly to install MikTeX on my computer which has the Windows 7 operating system, but without success. How can I do it, please?

The publisher does not indicate compatibility with Windows 7:

I don't know more than that. -

Apparently, it only works on Windows 8 and above:

But there's plenty of TeX for Windows...
