When I try to send a message to a friend, it shows up in red and says it's not registered with iMessage, even though I want to send him a message. Can you help me?

    Hello,

    If iMessage isn't working with your friend, it may be that they are not connected to the internet, haven't activated iMessage, or don't have an iPhone. In this case, you can choose to send your message via SMS, provided you have a mobile plan that allows for sending/receiving SMS/MMS.
