Migration

Solved

Hello,
I encountered a small problem migrating from Win7 to Win10 using the current tools and images (20h2 or 21h1), whether with "mediacreationtool", the update assistant, or any media. The installation systematically failed.
I solved my problem by using an old ISO of Windows 10 (1511).
However, when I want to upgrade from 1511 to 21h1 (or even 20h2), I get the following error message: "The system registry contains invalid file path entries. The installation cannot continue. This system image has been applied without guaranteeing that the drive letter assignments are the same on all computers."
Do you have any idea to help me resolve this issue? Note that due to a lack of time, I am trying to go directly from 1511 to 21h1. Maybe I need to go through all the updates one by one?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Mel

    Hello jfmimi !
I had already tried this solution but without result because when you follow the link you provided or by going directly to their site like I did, you indeed get the list of all the ISOs in x86 or x64, but when you select one, it automatically redirects you to download the latest version of Windows, which is 21h1 (windows10Upgrade9252.exe).
However, I still managed to install 20h2 using Windows Update Manager (WuMgr), which is a portable open-source tool that allows, among other things, to manually manage Windows 10 updates.
In any case, thanks for your help.
