Hello,

By accident I replied to an email pretending to be PayPal. The email address in question ends with mail.fr.

Do you know if I risk hacking my account or something else?
Thank you in advance for your response

If you only replied, it amounts to you confirming to the hacker that your address is valid, hence collectible by spam professionals.
In doubt, changing your password doesn’t hurt!

    Hello @Satine,

This is phishing. Account hacking is possible but it all depends on what personal information you gave. If you have provided your password, change it immediately to a very strong password!!!

      Hello
      Thank you for your response
No information was transmitted. He wanted to know what time he could call me to confirm the payment because due to COVID new rule… I contacted PayPal directly which told me it was fraud.
