Hello everyone!
After several forums, I still can’t find a solution to this problem..
Little explanation:
I have a Brother printer connected via USB to a Windows PC, the printer sharing is password-free and works on other Windows devices.
Problem:
The printer is visible and it is possible to add the printer on MAC BUT when printing a document, an authentication error prevents the printing??
If you have any sources, I'm all ears :))
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 91.0.4472.77

Hello,
Actually, your Mac doesn't see your printer directly: it first sees your Windows PC, which sees the printer connected via USB. I don't have a solution to offer you, but it would be interesting to know how your network is set up between your computers: WiFi, Ethernet?
For example, at my place, the printer is connected to the router, which simplifies everything, and the occasional PCs or Macs can print without any problem.
