Controller issue epicgames launcher

Hello everyone.
I’ve been having a controller issue for the past two days with games launched from the Epic launcher (everything works fine on Steam).
The controller suddenly got disabled after a game I quit “harshly” (I just shut down the PC without logging off, which apparently isn’t great either), and since then I haven’t been able to find the original controller settings (I tested it on Rocket League and Pine, it’s the same).
I have to reconfigure every button and every joystick movement, and I can’t seem to hit exactly what was set by default.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the controller drivers, but nothing changes.
And when I do a reset to the default settings in the games, it goes back to zero but without assigning any functions to anything for the controller.
I also saw on the forum that someone had the same problem as me, but it wasn’t resolved.
Anyway, it’s not great.
Does anyone have an idea?

I think I've spent more time finding a solution than I will playing these games, but here is a roundabout way to get the controller working.
I linked my Epic account to my Steam account.
I added the games to my Steam library (add a game > add a non-Steam game),
I disconnected the Epic launcher and I launch them with the Steam launcher.
Everything is working again, and saves are intact.
