Hello,
I would like to know how I can install ReadyBoost on a USB drive and then I would also like to know how to install it on my PC
I have already seen websites on the Internet that explained how to install it on a PC, but I haven't seen any that said how to install it on a USB drive before putting it on the computer
So on the Internet, there were sites that explained how to install it on a PC, but the problem is that I am not a professional in computer science; I am really not skilled, so if someone could explain to me how to install ReadyBoost on a USB drive and then put it on the computer to improve its performance, but explain all this in detail
Also, I would like to know if it really increases the performance of the PC because I don't know if you have seen my previous questions about how to optimize my PC, but I would like to optimize my PC which is really not that great. In the previous questions, I had provided my specs using the Speccy software, but I was told that I mainly needed to buy a new PC. However, I would like to see if installing ReadyBoost improves my PC's performance and I would like to know if I can use ReadyBoost with it or if I can't because it's not powerful enough.

Hello,
Insert a blank USB stick into the computer
Find the USB stick in File Explorer
Right-click on the USB location
Click on properties
Click on the "ReadyBoost" tab
Dedicate
OK
The USB stick must remain in the computer and is only used for ReadyBoost.
If you have 8 GB of RAM, it's not sure that it will work and that it's necessary.

Hello,
To use a key in this mode, you need to connect it, then right-click on it and select properties, tab ReadyBoost

Yes, for sure, I'm going to do that
Is it better for me to run ReadyBoost on a regular USB port (black) or a blue one
And aren't there other ways to improve the performance of my current PC with software modifications, cleanups?
Actually, I would like to improve my PC's performance, if possible, without buying new components or a completely new PC. (unless that's the only solution)

Thank you for clarifying; actually, I didn't complete the operation.
Have a nice day!
Hello, I don't have a ReadyBoost tab.
