Hello,

For the past few days, Discord has been displaying “discord.com does not allow connection” when I try to log in to their website. Additionally, their desktop apps load blank as if they are checking for an update.
Please help me.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 89.0.4389.114

Hello, is discord.com accessible from another device or connection?

Could you also check the hosts file:
    1. Press the Windows + R keys
    2. Copy-paste this text:
    C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

    3. Open it with Notepad

    Is there anything in Notepad?

Hello, I have the same problem and it shows this in the notepad: # Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
      #
      # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
      #
      # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
      # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
      # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
      # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
      # space.
      #
      # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
      # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
      #
      # For example:
      #
      # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
      # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

      # localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
      # 127.0.0.1 localhost
      # ::1 localhost

      127.0.0.1 discord.gg
      127.0.0.1 discord.com

Delete the last 2 lines of the notepad and save the changes.
Warning, if you did not add these lines yourself, it is probably due to third-party software or malware.

I didn't add them by myself, how do I remove the malware?
