Hello, I'm having a TV problem.

Let me explain:

I bought a brand new Samsung PS43E450 for €450 at Auchan in 2012-2013.

I've had this TV for a long time and it's starting to show its age, like it has dead zones (viva Plasma!) on the top left when there’s white, but it's not a big deal... Anyway... That's not the worst part.

For the past 3 months, every morning at precisely 3:35 AM (French time), this old lady turns on by herself, and I have to get up, go down the stairs, and turn it off. I've since unplugged it.

I have an Orange UHD decoder (which is useless since it’s a 1080p TV) with a Livebox 5 fiber, a Thomson DPL570HT home theater amplifier (which is old), and everything except the TV stays on 24/7 except when I'm on vacation.

I also have a Hertzian antenna on my house that's connected via a TNT cable for when the Livebox 5 crashes (viva Orange!).

There’s one area of confusion where I need clarification: When the TV turns on (miraculously?), it puts me on a music channel (Trace Urban on my Livebox) at full blast (like my amplifier is at 50 and my decoder is maxed out), so listening to rap at 3 AM is a no-go.

This is not a bad joke, it’s a real situation happening. As I explained, to remedy this, I unplug my TV every night.

Good luck to whoever can help me solve this problem.

Configuration: Android / Chrome 88.0.4324.152

    Hello,
    How is your television connected?
It puts me on a music channel (Trace Urban on my livebox)
The music channel Trace Urban... it's the Orange decoder that is the only one capable of transmitting the signal to the television...

Check that there is nothing scheduled on the Orange decoder on the concerned channel (channel No. 150) that would start at 03:35 and that would be recurring (every day)

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it's not there...

Hello, thanks for the reply, no there is nothing programmed, that's the most "frightening" part.

I also forgot to add this: The screen may turn on but remain black (no Samsung logo at startup), go to the DTT source and turn the TV volume up high.

Try to unplug the HDMI cable coming from the Orange TV decoder anyway; it is the only one that can "wake up" the TV from standby.
