Hello,
I lost my little brother who was the administrator of a WhatsApp group, and it continues to function since then. So, for religious reasons and for the rest of the deceased, we want the group to be deleted. What would be the possibility?

    Perhaps the best thing to do in this very sad case would be to write to them officially using a real stamped letter, including copies of the documents and the name of the account concerned.

    Your request should be directed to WhatsApp, which has a contact address and is the only one that can make decisions regarding the management of your account. I assume they will first ensure that the registered administrator is unable to respond or that there isn't a second one.

    However, we cannot predict their response, having no connection with them. But rest assured that they will conduct checks, lest anyone could request the deletion of an account, and it is not certain that members outside of the group in question can make such a request.
