I cannot tell you what is happening as we do not have access to Gmail servers.

I'm not sure that the problem comes from Google's servers since I can connect with any other device and especially even on my PC with another browser.

You can try reinstalling Chrome after completely uninstalling it with Revo Uninstaller in advanced mode.
