Hello,
I added a friend who is in my contacts through quick add. Does the person receive my request and do they have to accept it? How can I know if they accepted me without sending them a snap?

If you have added someone using quick add, you can click on their profile picture.
Normally, if you have access to their snapscore, it means that the person has added you back as well. If you only see their username, the person has not added you.
Be careful, sometimes snapscores have bugs, this answer should be verified but can already point you in the right direction.
