Hello,
I HAVE A SMALL PROBLEM I JUST BOUGHT A THONSON ROC1407 REMOTE CONTROL NOT ABLE TO FIND THE MENU FOR CHANNEL SETUP COULD SOMEONE HELP ME THANKS FOR THE ANSWER (tv schneider)
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.7

    I bought a Thomson ROC 1407 remote control, it got misconfigured and I can’t find the manual anymore. My TV is a Sony. Does anyone have the code????

        I also lost the codes for my remote control, so I sent an email to the address you had indicated but this address doesn't exist or no longer exists,
        so I fear I will have to pay again the price of a remote control in order to obtain the manuals (funny). In short, if someone has a technique or can dig up the codes, that would be very nice.

        Mom has lost the list of codes that go with the universal Thomson remote, and her TV is a Samsung. Thanks in advance for your help.

    We thank you for your email and for the interest you show in Thomson products.

    Unfortunately I cannot send you the ROC6407 manual. Nevertheless, below you will find the explanations related to setting up this remote control.

    ---------To enter a code:

    Before starting the programming, find the code of the device you wish to control.
    Refer to the list attached to this manual, page II of codes.

    To put the code on the remote control, you must be in front of the device, the device turned on and functioning. Do SET UP until the light blinks and stays steady. Select the mode of your device (TV DVD VCR...). While the light is on, type the code. Try turning off your device by pressing the red/power button. If the device does not turn off, proceed to automatic searches.

    ----------Automatic search procedure method C:

    You must be in front of the device, the device turned on and functioning. Do SET UP until the light blinks and stays steady. Select the mode of your device (TV DVD VCR...). Press the red/power button. If the device turns off, validate by pressing OK and test the remote. If the device does not turn off, press the red/power button again, and so on up to 200 times.

    ----------Automatic search procedure method D:

    You must be in front of the device, the device turned on and functioning. Do SET UP until the light blinks and stays steady. Select the mode of your device (TV DVD VCR...). Press the prog + (the up programming) button once only. The remote control
    starts blinking for several minutes, it is searching. If the device changes channel, validate by pressing OK and test the remote.

    Setting the channels is above all a problem of the TV, not of the remote control. Do you have your TV manual?

    Very urgent or not, we must stay cool because you will probably have to wait.

    Thomson only provides one code for Bluesky TVs 011. But unless you get incredibly lucky it will probably do nothing.

    Why? Because Bluesky is Carrefour that buys his TVs everywhere and anywhere, and you need a different code depending on the hidden brand behind the Bluesky name. So the remote control manufacturers don’t say it, but most of them have given up trying to follow.

    So go check post 8 and proceed as it’s explained.

      I already watched it and it didn’t help at all. My TV is a Bluesky STX 7080, a little old, and if for example I bought another universal remote from any brand that matches the Bluesky TV (even though we don’t know who built it) is it not guaranteed to work??
