Block SMS without phone number

Question

Hello,

I can't find how to block an SMS without a phone number... yes, it exists and I suppose the company uses bulk sending...

I tried using BlackList, but it blacklists it, and for it to work, I have to set it as the default instead of my messaging app. So, no way to do that to avoid problems later.

I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 smartphone.

No, I have nothing.
So I called Samsung support and they told me it wasn't possible to block SMS without a phone number...

?!?
Do you realize that many people use this to harass us... like my landlord... which I obviously won't block but I gave them that example.

I'm still looking, but I'm sure there is a way....

Depending on your version of Android, in your SMS/Messages app, at the top there are ..., then the settings, you should find (if they exist) the options for blocking numbers and messages.

I also forgot about the Phone app, which offers this possibility if it is not in SMS and "spreads" the setting to all Voice calls and SMS.

Hello in the Google Messages app, you can block an SMS without a phone number in the settings by clicking on 'information' at the top, and there you can block it and report it as spam.

The only thing you can do is contact the sender with a prior search of their website, Facebook page, etc., and tell them that you no longer want to receive SMS. There you go.
