Hello,
I can no longer get my TCL u49c70 to work in fast boot mode, despite having the option checked. Every time I have to wait for the Android OS to boot up. I’ve cleared the app cache. I'm on version V8-T658.
I don't want to reset the entire system again, otherwise, I'll lose all my image setting preferences and application recordings.
Do you have a solution?
I can't find the link on the TCL website to update my OS either.

Normally, you shouldn't modify or change the Android versions of the TVs, they're designed to work together... making changes can reveal more malfunctions related to the modification... I'm not even talking about the warranty.
Any eventual updates of the existing OS are done through Google Play Store or a competitor like APKpure or Aptoide for example...
But I don’t think that shaking up the entire installation will resolve your fast startup issue... It's better to find out why..??
Actually, there isn't a true fast startup... It's when turned off that it goes into standby instead of being completely shut down... therefore, the next startup will be quicker..
The trouble with this is that your Android door remains open all the time, to predators... invisibly..
