Hello,
Have you ever changed the cartridges on your printer? I could think not. If it's a hardware issue, Epson's customer service is there to help you, it remains to be seen if the warranty is still valid.

Assuming that this printer is properly installed on the PC, there is a utility to use for changing cartridges, have you used it?
You can also achieve the same result at the printer's control panel.
Neither of the two methods works?

Thank you for the response; the printer is correctly installed on the PC (not by me!); the cartridge change command does not seem to respond (on the control panel). The utility ??? where to find it? A neighbor just told me that she has had this problem before which occurs from time to time. Thank you for your help.

Yes, I have already changed the cartridges. What is the average lifespan of this type of printer? ...I don't use it every day. It is out of warranty.
