Hello,
Is it possible to repair a satellite dish LNB, and if so, how should one proceed?
Second question, how can we test the condition of an LNB?
Thank you all.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 84.0.4147.135

Hello,
Given the current price of LNBs, a repair is not justified.

Hello Andy,
I bought a new LNB a month ago to replace the old one that broke down for 17 euros.
The new one broke down after a rain.
So the price is not high, but if I have to replace it after every rain, which is not a rare phenomenon in Brittany... -
Invest a little more in a quality and well-known brand product or use protection, for example:

Customer feedback on this protection is not very positive. It seems to become brittle after a while and has a wind catch.
Above all, I don’t see how it protects the rear part of the LNB where moisture infiltration occurs on the wiring.
Unfortunately, there’s no miracle solution; it’s certainly intended by the manufacturers...
