Network Adapter - Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller

Question

Hello,  The driver for my network card seems to mysteriously disable / malfunction when my computer goes to sleep, and it no longer supports the Wi-Fi function (but it detects the Ethernet cable).  This isn't the first time I've encountered this problem, and I had previously resolved it (at least I thought) by installing a newer Realtek driver. I installed a driver from 2020 yesterday and the problem seemed fixed, until now. Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver doesn't help, and I can't reactivate the Wi-Fi.  I have an Asus x200ma running Windows 8.1. Does anyone have a solution or an idea? Thank you in advance.

Hello,  Windows + R Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.  Go to Network adapters Right-click on the wireless adapter Properties Power Management tab Uncheck --> Allow the computer to turn off......... OK. Restart the PC..   -- Humans are at their best when things are at their worst.

unable to reactivate the wifi.   This number corresponds to the ethernet (network cable) and not to the wireless.  Is the problem with the wifi or the ethernet?

My problem is the wifi. I don't see any other drivers corresponding to the wifi. Could it be possible that my wifi card is dead/disabled?

The wifi has always worked, but I had encountered this problem once or twice before. By trying more or less recent drivers, the issue seemed to be resolved.  However, this is the second time in two weeks that my wifi card seems to disappear. The connection with the ethernet cable remains functional. I can't find an explanation, but I think I noticed that it happened after a sleep mode.

Look in wireless connection --> HERE There are Broadcom, Atheros, or Realtek wireless as wifi drivers  If that doesn't work, it might be that the card is defective? Try a usb wifi adapter.   -- Humans are at their best when things are at their worst.

Hello,  I still haven't solved the root of the problem, but here are the latest updates. The network card doesn't seem to be faulty. I opened my PC: it's not damaged, it's properly connected, in short.  By chance, it reappeared after the automatic installation of a Windows update at startup (it disappeared again today). I then remembered that it had disappeared after an automatic Windows Defender update. After some research, I found that I wasn't the only one experiencing this kind of issue following a Windows update, but I haven't found a solution yet.
