Processor issue only 1 core

Hello, I had a problem when trying to change my number of processors in msconfig. I went to boot, then advanced options, checked the number of processors, and set it to 12, which is my maximum. Later, I reversed the process, and now my PC is super slow, and when I want to select a number of processors, it only offers me 1.

Thank you for helping me.

Configuration: iPad / Safari 11.0

    Hello
This kind of modification is at best useless, and can cause problems, even crash the PC.
Open the task manager, performance tab.
Click on CPU, and post a screenshot

But before it used to go up to 12, why not anymore?

And if I reset it, how do I do that and what will it change on my PC?

      Hi
Normally, this parameter indicates the number of cores.
      And you shouldn't touch it!!!

Well, that's why I'm asking what the point of touching it was... because I still don't see it there... :-)

Hello, I did everything you said, I got back my 8 hearts but I feel like I'm experiencing a loss of performance. Is that possible and if so, how can I fix it?

Open a command prompt, in administrator mode.
Type bcdedit /v , and post the result.

By unchecking the "number of processors" box and rebooting, what does it do?

When I go to msconfig, it is always unchecked, and by rebooting, do you mean restarting the PC?

      You are doing well.
      Some had to reinstall Windows.
The settings of this menu, don’t touch, never.

hello, is it possible to get the solution because I'm having a bit of a hard time understanding lol... I'm also in the same situation with an AMD Ryzen 5 5700X 8 core, I have 1 core left and before doing msconfig and restarting my PC there were 16 available
