Open .txt file but invisible

Hello,
I don't know what's going on, but when I open a text file (.txt), it opens fine since it's displayed in the taskbar, but it's invisible on the screen??
I don't understand this "bug"?? I haven't installed any software.
I have no error messages and everything is fine with Windows 10, except that I can't see my txt files and they do open.
I worked around the problem by using "open with" and I chose WordPad, but I would like to get back to normal Notepad.
Does anyone have any idea?
