Arobase on MAC Closed

Hello,

Before some offended people come to tell me "already addressed in a topic, it's useless", I want to clarify that I searched the forum, and the proposed solutions do not work... So, I'm posting here as a last resort! ^^

So, I can't type an at sign on my Windows partition with my MAC

Here's the context: I made a remote desktop connection to my server. When I'm on my Windows partition, everything works fine, I can type the at sign, but when I connect with my BAD connection, instead of the at sign, it displays a \... Does anyone have any idea?

The keys "alt+0", "ctrl+alt+0", "shift+alt+0", "shift+0" do not work...

Hi  With a PC keyboard, you need to hold down "Alt Gr + µ" and you will get an at sign.  See you!

Hello,

since you are on Windows and remote desktop, this means you can technically use ascii codes (well, I think, I've never tried it between two O/S) So the ascii code for @ is alt+64 (Not simultaneously but one after the other - so you hold alt and press 6 then 4)

No, it's not working, I don't have anything showing up in my password field... And the problem is that the MAC belongs to a doctor, I need to set up a BAD connection for him, and if I ask him to type the ASCII codes, he's going to have a fit because it's too complicated and won't want to use it... Doctors are really the worst -_-"

Anyway, no, the ASCII trick doesn't work : /

Damn, it would have been an alternative but the other one I have is very long... it's to open the On-Screen Keyboard in Start / All Programs / Accessories / Accessibility / On-Screen Keyboard. but I doubt it will work.

To get the at sign (@) on Windows XP2 (Parallel) with a Mac keyboard:  Hold down the "ctrl" and "alt" keys, then type "0à"   To get the euro €:  Hold down the "ctrl" and "alt" keys, then type "E"

In general, we forget about the VIRTUAL KEYBOARDS that exist on PC or MAC, which often allow us to get out of this kind of situation... Best regards.

I am encountering the same problem, it's impossible to produce the at sign, it's really frustrating. I'm using a Microsoft keyboard in a Mac environment and for now (since I haven't found other solutions), I'm staying connected with my Mac mini keyboard just because of these issues.
