Hello,
I wanted to reinstall my system to upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, but my installation failed:
"Unable to install GRUB to /dev/sda, executing "grub-install /dev/sda" failed. This error is fatal"
I have already installed 16.04 and 17.10 without any issues, and I upgraded from 18.04.
But since then, it has been stuck. I've tried installing 19.10 and 18.04.4, but there's a problem. I don't understand why the installation gets stuck at the GRUB installation stage.
Since I am dual booting with Windows 10, I did as usual and created a bootable USB stick with Rufus in GPT/EFI mode.
Is it a BIOS issue? Or something else?
Does anyone have a solution, please?
