Hello,
I've been tearing my hair out since this morning...
I converted a PDF file using Libre Office, which opens it with Draw (even though the extension is ODT). From there, it's impossible to edit the document in text format or to copy and paste. And of course, it's the text that I'm interested in...
Do you know a way to recover the text from this format?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
If you want to extract text from a PDF file, use an online converter.
The results are good, much better than what you could do.
However, it still depends on the structure of the PDF. There are cases where the conversion is practically impossible, with very disappointing results.

The PDF remains an output format, it is not meant to be modified.
A priori, the author complicated things by converting it to an image format.
Surely to prevent clever ones from copying it.
Of course, we can retrieve text from an image or a photo using an OCR software.
But it is often much faster to type the text with one's little fingers.

Why hack MS-Office when there is a free solution?
Use OpenOffice

Use OpenOffice
The text is scanned in the pdf and thus impossible to select.
