Hello gilou71
with Ubuntu 20.04, the QuickCam Express (a very old model!) works without the need for any installation
but you have to use VLC or Guvcview
with Cheese, it doesn’t work.
That said, the image is quite blurry!
The settings in Guvcview don’t change much. -

The link takes me to the lea linux site.
I have downloaded and unzipped "qc-usb-messenger 1.8".
The tutorial specifies that we should find an "install" file in the unzipped archive, but I haven't seen anything.-

Download "cheese" (sudo apt install cheese
), launch the program and come back to us ;-)

Apparently "back then" it was supposed to work, but I'm not absolutely sure about that.
