It is not a calculation supported for Text type data .... When I put net amount in the Values area and want to do a sum, I get this darn message ".... it is not a calculation supported for Text type data" ....  I hope to find some clarity here because I am going to go crazy  Stay safe ....  Thank you in advance

Re  Indeed, opening the file triggers an error and your graph disappears, so I can't see where the error comes from.  You only have one year in what you sent me. You have downloaded your data; only the last columns are entered or calculated. When I open your file, you have data columns (F & G for example) in TEXT format. However, the GCD remains operational, without any message. So start by putting ALL your numeric data in NUMBER or DATE format!  -- Retirement is great! Especially in the Caribbean... Thank you for taking the time, but with my personal spreadsheet with 3 years and around 2000 rows, it doesn't work.  I have a pivot table that works and gives me information on sales ordered by year and month, another for billable sales by year and month, but honestly, it's impossible to create a pivot chart with ... Despite the lockdown (or because of ... :-) ) I'm losing patience and I think I'm going to give up even though it's frustrating ....  A huge thank you to both of you  henri

Hello, I'm refreshing this recent post because it's still fresh in your minds. I'm having exactly the same problem (error message).
