Bonjour !
So here it is, I have Pokémon Soulsilver on my Nintendo DS, unfortunately it crashed, but I wanted to play that game again.
So I downloaded the ROM on my phone, I played with the Drastic emulator on Android, but at one point in the adventure I wanted to evolve my Pokémon that only evolve through trading, and have those only present in the Heartgold version.
I saw on the internet that the only emulators allowing trades for Nintendo DS Pokémon games are MelonDS and NO$GBA. Melon DS doesn’t even start on my PC, so I tried with NO$GBA (the most used apparently). I copied my internal Pokémon save from drastic from my phone to my PC (file .dsv) and then thanks to the Desmume emulator I converted it to .sav format by loading my game and then exporting the backup memory and selecting the .sav format for no$gba.
So far so good, I moved the .sav to the BATTERY folder of NO$GBA to be able to load it. I launched the game, I loaded my game by continuing the game (my game does appear in the game menu with my badges and all that) and that's where the problem arises...
Either it gives a black screen, or it says "ROM image has crashed" and NO$GBA crashes...
I've tried everything, I’ve gone through dozens of forums, tried codes to fix bugs, changed settings (Reset startup entrypoint for example as explained on several forums).
Nothing works, impossible to load my game...
I’m calling on you to help me find THE solution that will help many I imagine.
Thank you in advance!
