alignment page print Closed

Question

Hello,
Following the replacement of the original HP301 cartridges on my HP Envy 4500 printer,
I am unable to print the alignment page. The screen displays Printing... but nothing happens; it's the first time this has happened to me. Can someone give me the solution, please?

It still doesn't work! The message "page alignment printing" keeps running and I can't cancel or navigate. Can someone help me? Thank you.

Hello,

I had the same problem, and I fixed it.
Luck or good method? In any case, I’m sharing what I did:

Turn on > open the lid > remove the cartridges
Close & unplug (without turning off), and wait 60s.

In the meantime, clean the electrical contacts of the cartridges with a very lightly damp cotton swab (not the bottom, the side) and also clean the same electrical contacts in the printer.

Plug back in > reinstall the cartridges > print alignment page
