Hello,
I have an Acer Aspire 7535G. When I start my computer, it shows "update 35%" and then continues, displaying "Windows will shut down in 1 minute" when I reach the desktop. I tested a safe mode startup which works, but I absolutely cannot perform a repair with a USB stick (https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/systemes-d-exploitation/23917-windows-7-usb-dvd-download-tool/) in this mode. (I don't have a restore CD) and I don't know what to do anymore.
Can you please help me?

Hello,
Empty the software distribution folder, see if the update installation stops.

Hello,
You need to modify the power settings in the control panel, then click on sleep and set it to never for both battery and plugged-in, and do this for all three modes.
Then there are the advanced options still in these modes; click on it, and a window will open. Click on hard disk and set it to never for both.
Further down in the same window, go to sleep and set it to never, etc., for all three modes.
