Connecting an old camcorder to a television Solved

Hello, I want to connect an old Canon UC100 camcorder to my Samsung LED TV On the camcorder, I have 2 plugs (Yellow and white RCA type) On the TV, there are HDMI ports I bought an AUDIO/VIDEO CGV converter on the advice of a large retailer But my TV continuously displays "no signal" What should I do? Hello everyone, I'm adding my two cents. Olivier bought this gadget; I didn't even know it existed. You can either use it or not, it's up to you. The camcorder came with an analog cord: 2 RCA, video in yellow and audio in white, and a SCART. I have a cable that was provided with the camcorder (2 RCA connectors - yellow and white) and on the other side a male SCART. I connect the yellow and white RCA to the camcorder, then the male SCART plug to the CGV converter. From the converter, I go out (HDMI Out) with an HDMI/HDMI cable that I connect to the TV. I put the camcorder in play mode and switch the TV to the correct HDMI. I connect the converter to the 220V and the red LED lights up. "No Signal" appears on the TV. There are 3 small buttons on the converter (50/60hz, SCART/HDMI, 720P/1080P). Regardless of the position of these 3 buttons, the message "No signal" remains displayed. That's where I am Thank you

There are indeed five RCAs but you will only use two! Red and white = audio stereo but since this camcorder is mono, you will only connect the white one Red, blue, green = component video signals (three RGB signals) BUT the green also acts as composite (one single video signal) on which you will connect the yellow  I call a spade a spade *      *in French in the text
