    Hello,

The WiFi has several standards. For example, in my Freebox Delta, there are two different standards: 2.4 GHz and two 5 GHz. Already, let's forget about the 5 GHz — totally not supported by the console.

Regarding encryption, which is required for the connection. WEP and WPA are supported. I have a doubt about WPA2 and WPA3, which is not supported.

Note that with old devices, you end up having to use a lamentable box configuration just to make it work.

Personally, I use the technique of a USB WiFi key as a hotspot on the PC that I configure for this kind of device and I unplug it when I’m not using it; thus I don’t have security issues via my box :)

    Best regards,
