Hello, unfortunately, I broke the screen of my Acer tablet PC, so it works without me being able to access it.
I would like to transfer my data to a Toshiba computer, but I only have a jack-to-jack cable available.
Can I transfer files (documents, photos...) using this cable?

    Hello,

No, there's no possibility with this cable. The jack is for audio, not data.

If the screen is broken, you need to check if there is an HDMI or VGA output (and the corresponding cable) to connect to an external screen or a TV.

Another solution is to disassemble the device to retrieve the disk or SSD and connect it to another machine or to an external USB drive.

I would need the exact type of the tablet and its OS (Windows, Android)

    Best regards

    Hello.

No, the transfer cannot be done with this type of cable. You need to use a USB cable that connects to the computer with a mini-USB connector at the other end that plugs into the tablet. This is generally the type of cable used to charge the tablet. Once connected, the computer will recognize the tablet and you will be able to retrieve your documents.
