Hello,
I have a Pioneer VSX-405RDS and I would like to make it work with my phone.
Knowing that there is a jack input, I connected it to my iPhone but there is no sound coming out. Let me explain..
I’m not very knowledgeable about this kind of thing, but I connected a speaker to the back to the red and black just like on the speaker. I plugged my iPhone into the "Phones" jack but I can't get any sound out. Does anyone have the manual or the solution please?

I have the same amplifier. You need to connect the iPhone to the back of the amplifier, to one of the inputs, for example on CD, using a cable with a headphone jack on one end to connect to the iPhone, and RCA plugs (red and white) on the other end to connect to the amplifier. After that, you will have the sound from the phone in the amplifier. You can find the cable in hi-fi video shops. The headphones jack is an output to connect a headset.
