Hello
my problem is that I cannot access the advanced settings page 192.168.1.1:8000 of my router knowing that I can normally access 192.168.1.1 (without :8000). I would like to add that my router is a Movistar Home Station ADSL ADB A4001N
thank you in advance

Hi,
why 8000?
Is there a reason?

Good evening,

Here is the DOC for your modem/router https://www.movistar.es/rpmm/estaticos/residencial/fijo/banda-ancha-adsl/manuales/modem-router-inalambricos-adsl/manufacturers-user-manual-home-station-adb-pdg-a4001n.pdf

-- its address is indeed 192.168.1.1 and nothing else after.

-- I don't see why you put 8000 after..?? do you have a specific reason..??

--- Normally we do this only to access a device that is on port 8000 of the Local network which is not very founded... Because if it is a device, its IP is different from that of your BOX...

-- For example... if you have a server, or a phone, or a surveillance camera, it will be on your local network with a different IP number from your BOX... for example: 192.168.1.25:8000 but not 192.168.1.1:8000

So on your internet browser in the URL address, you should type 192.168.1.25:8000 to access your camera... for example...

On the other hand, if you want to access it from the outside (let’s say at a friend's house) you need to type your External IP address (the one given by your provider) for example: 77.54.23.97:8080 to access your camera...

Let’s add that you need to allow port 8000 to communicate with the outside in your BOX, that’s the NAT table otherwise the connection will never be made.

The modem Box Router is not accessible from the outside by its IP number.

There you go, I hope I haven't confused you...
