Mailbox folder in "read-only" mode

Hello everyone,
Thank you in advance for your valuable advice.
I am using a MacBook Air with Catalina.
One of the folders in my mailbox is read-only. There are no emails in it anymore.
I have the impression that this state results from the fact that I moved the folder. What is curious is that this folder contains a subfolder that is accessible.
Do you have any ideas?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Good evening,

I suppose you are talking about a local folder in the Mail application ...

Perhaps then a reconstruction of this folder (also called Mailbox):

    Best regards.

      Good evening Francis,
Thank you for this clarification. I am indeed talking about one of the folders from one of my mailboxes in the mail application.
I had investigated this direction but, on this read-only folder, I cannot click on rebuild as it remains grayed out.
      Have a good evening.
