Paid Instagram video call?

Hello,
I wanted to know if Instagram video calls are charged, and if they impact our mobile plan? I learned that FaceTime was entirely charged with my mobile plan, and since I make video calls on Instagram very often, I was wondering if I would run into any issues ^^’ thanks in advance

    No, it's free. Just like FaceTime.

    It's just that a video call consumes much more of your internet plan than a simple call or text exchange.

    If you connect to Wi-Fi with your phone, it won't consume your plan.
