Hello, I have been with Free for a short time and I can't connect via Wi-Fi. When I try to solve the problem, my PC tells me: Windows cannot connect to the hidden network.
Can you help me? My phone has no problem, but the others can't connect either.
Thank you very much for your time, best regards, tmaltom.

    Hello,

    Go to https://portail.free.fr

Go to Subscriber Space and log in (fbx------ identifier or Free phone number + password provided by Free)
Go to My Freebox > Configure my Wifi network
Scroll down to Wifi network security
You will find Hide my wifi network (at the top). Disable the option (NO in red).

I am very surprised that this option could have been enabled.

Okay, I will try tomorrow, I'll keep you updated, thank you for your time, that's really nice!! However, I know there was an issue on my street and it affected my line; apparently, they changed a piece, and since then I've been experiencing the problem I've explained to you. Just for your info!! Thank you.

    Hello,
what is the name of that hidden network?

Normally, my network is called Helene but now it connects me to Helene2, which I never set up, and while my phone connects to Wi-Fi, my PCs and other phones can no longer connect. However, I know there was a problem in my street that apparently affected my line; they changed a part and since then I've been experiencing the issue I've explained to you. Just for your information! Thank you.

      Well,
I didn't understand everything, except that Free seems to have a problem on the street.
Normally, it shouldn't affect your Wi-Fi network.
Where did you configure this SSID helene?

So, actually, it’s my neighbor who is having this problem. She explained to me that in the street or in the building, a necessary part for her to have her connection broke, and that impacted her line. Only the people who came to replace this part warned her that with her PC, as soon as she wants to connect using the Wi-Fi, she has the Windows issue that I explained to you. So, her computer and 2 phones can no longer connect to the box network except for her regular phone. Usually, she connects to the network named "helene," but there’s no way! There are other networks she could connect to, but they’re not hers, so of course. She is connecting via cable for now, but she would like to get her Wi-Fi connection back. Just like you, I told her that the repairmen’s work shouldn’t affect her connection, but I mentioned it to you because she says that ever since that repair, everything has been messed up at her place. There you go!! Thank you for your help and the time you’re giving me. Have a good evening, good night!!

      OK,
so she connects to her box via Ethernet, goes to the Wi-Fi section, sets a new WPA2 key for her network helene and then it should go smoothly, she can also delete helenne2, which might be the guest network.

The WPA2 key is a password provided by your internet service provider, isn't it? Sorry, I don't know everything!! I connect to Wi-Fi on their PC, is it down to the right?
