My Wii turns on and off.

Hello,
I hope someone has already had this problem and knows how to fix it.
Yesterday, I opened the Wii because something was stuck in the DVD drive. I reassembled it by following a tutorial, just like when I opened it. I put everything back together with the battery and all the screws. I plugged it in, the red light turned on. I pressed the button, it turned green for barely a second, and then the button turned black as if it was unplugged even though it was still connected. Every time I unplug and plug it back in, the button turns red again, and each time it turns black after the green light comes on.
Please help me.
