My PC game controller is not recognized. Solved

Question

Hello to you,  First of all, I have a controller only for PC that connects via cable. I was playing a game when suddenly my PC told me that a USB device was not recognized and the controller mode in my game was interrupted.  When I go to my device manager, it says: unknown USB device (descriptor request failed)  I tried plugging it into my other USB ports but it still doesn’t work, and they are not dead since my mouse works. I tried restarting the PC but that didn’t help. I don’t think the controller is defective since it's only a few months old and I was using it when this happened suddenly. Moreover, I can assure you that they are tough to kill because the previous one I owned still works even though I broke the left side; I just don’t use it anymore because of a displaced joystick.  I also want to emphasize that it has never fallen and made no strange noises or anything.  Can you help me? This is really important to me.

MCAFEE is in AppData  right click on "start" >> "search"  in the window that opens, type %appdata% and press ENTER  in the window that opens, look for MCAFEE and right click on MCAFEE items >> delete  if it doesn't work, go to the control panel >> folder options  in the window that opens, click on "view"  scroll down the page and check the box "show hidden files, folders, and drives"  click on "apply" and "OK"  as shown in my W7 image    once done, click on "the explorer" in the taskbar  in the window that opens, follow the path to access MCAFEE and delete all folders/files you see from MCAFEE  PS: I'm going to sleep and will check your response tomorrow  @+  -- the radiation level is higher at the employment center than at Chernobyl
