Good evening,

To install the driver for the Olivetti PG 2335 printer through a USB cable on Windows 7, I followed these steps:
1/ Devices and Printers
2/ Add Printer
3/ I choose any USB port and click OK
4/ An icon of the printer with an exclamation mark appears in the "Devices and Printers" interface
5/ I right-click on the icon and delete the device, and I redo these steps by choosing another USB port, but I get the same result, and the other icons I thought I deleted reappear when I close and reopen the interface.

6/ In the same interface at the bottom, there is an icon "device unknown"

I tried to install the driver on another PC running Windows 10, and I directly clicked on the setup in the CD, but a message indicates that there is no device connected, even though I have verified the wiring.... I'm stuck and don’t know what to do. Please, can anyone help me? I would be grateful.

Hello,
Try to do the opposite, that is to say:
Connect the printer to a USB port
Turn on the printer
Start your computer.

It will discover a new device and ask to install it. Follow the instructions (insert CD, etc...)

On the front, it's for a USB key. Have you tried it?
Are you connecting properly to the back of the machine? With a supplied cable?
Otherwise, change the cable, not all cables work the same. Yours is USB 2.

I tried with USB 2 and USB 3 but got the same result; I also changed the cable without success, I don't know what to do. Also, every time I click on "Add printer" another copy appears, I delete it and close the interface... but if I come back another time, I find all the copies with exclamation points, for that I accessed the control panel to completely uninstall the printer but I can't find it.

Hello,
Have you tried on another computer with Windows 10, tested different USB ports, and changed the connection cables...?
So it's the printer that's at fault, not your computer.
Can you print from the USB drive?
No error messages on its display when plugged in?
How old is the machine? Can you go back to where it was purchased to have it tested?
