Canon mp540 printer drivers for Windows 10

Question

I crashed my PC a few days ago. It's fine now. But Canon tells me that they no longer provide drivers for the model mentioned (even though my MP540 works perfectly). Could you please provide me with a solution?  Thank you in advance for the solution.

Thank you for your responses. They helped me. But I didn't understand how. Regarding the printer, okay thank you Pierr10. As for the scanner, I don't know how I did it but you need to go to the Microsoft Store and download Windows Scanner.

I have the same problem after changing my PC (I am on Windows 10): my Canon MP540 printer/scanner is no longer detected. I tried to add a printer: it doesn't work!!! The driver for Windows 10 64-bit is unavailable... help!!!

hi Kaneagle suggests testing the driver for W8.1 in this message ==> click here right-click on the driver ==> troubleshoot compatibility I checked in the printer setup, and yours is listed   @+
