Which processor for DDR3 for gaming

Hello,
I have a limited budget for a setup and seeing the price of DDR4 skyrocketing, I turned to DDR3 which I think will be sufficient for gaming (1600MHz). My budget for the processor is 100 € and that for the motherboard is 80 €

I play these games: Csgo, Garry's Mod, GTA V, Rocket League.

I wanted to know what would be the best current processor for gaming with DDR3 RAM and which motherboard to get with it?

    Let’s assume. I still suggest DDR4 over DDR3 for reasons of obsolescence.

    You will certainly need a graphics card. Any requirements on that? Price? Brand? Model?

    For now, I can get a GTX 660 at a low price; my goal is to pay little, obsolescence will be secondary I think, as I do not wish to play the latest games.

    Why not look for used ones? Machines based on i5 from the 4th generation should be within the budget of 200 to 250 euros (I haven't searched too much on Leboncoin, but I've seen some).

      Good idea, I hadn't thought of that, I'll go check it out.
      Thanks otherwise for the processor, I would have rather stuck with Intel. At first, I was thinking of an i5 3570k, but I'm afraid it's a bit too old.

    As already mentioned, it's not very useful to get a motherboard and CPU that still use DDR3. If you could tell us your total budget, we might be able to help you find the parts.
