Hello,
I am creating a slideshow on OpenOffice.Org Impress and I would like to insert music to enliven my presentation. I can't seem to find this feature; however, it seems to me that it is possible. Could you please tell me how to do it? I would like the same track to play throughout my slideshow, without any interruptions. Thank you in advance!

Hi Milly
You select all your slides, go to the transition menu, and under "modify transition," you choose Sound then Other Sound, you select your file (like an mp3 on your hard drive), and check the box "loop until sound ends," and there you go.
Isn't life beautiful?

To create a slideshow with continuous music in Impress
1. Select the slide where you want the music to start
2. Display the Office pane
3. Open the Transition tab, then in Modify transition, show <other sound> in the box
next to the Sound command.
4. Choose the prepared music in Riff Wave (see the free software CDex)
5. Check below the Sound command: Loop until sound
6. For all the following slides, choose <no sound>.
7. Set the slide transitions to automatic
